meeting was held at the Trap n’ Fish Lodge.
Beissel’s Vintage Ride is on the 13th and we expect around 100 sleds. We’ll
ride to Loretta, to the Beer Hunters and then onto the Rustic Inn. Then back to town to Stacy’s Pub
and Bottom’s up. Be back to the groomer shed by 5pm for a chicken dinner and awards.
Sno Trails snowmobile club had a vintage ride on the 6th and a few of us from the club went.
It was a big turn out and we hope for more. We had a cleanup
evening on the 8th for the vintagDough
Roll e ride and snowcross. Things got
moved or tossed and the floor was scrubbed. This only gets done for these events. Went over what is needed for the Fish Fest. The fishing contest opens at 7am
and the raffles in the lodge will start at noon. If you plan on being at Trap for the raffles, bring lots
of $$$$. This is our main fundraiser for the club. We’ll have raffles out on the
ice for the fisherman, also. This is 100% pay back on categories caught. Any tickets
not sold or you have forgotten to send them back, please do so, before the 20th. The IRACE snowcross in on the 27th. Any
member that wants to help for the day, you will have to pay at the gate, get your green VIP wristband in the shed.
Work a few hours and when you leave or get done with what you are helping with, you will be reimbursed for your entry
fee. Frank & Jan ran across a great deal | on a Pro Snowcross helmet (youth) to raffle off at the race.
This is a limited edition Ski-Doo helmet #15 of 2500. There will be other items for raffle.
They ran across a lot of donations at the ISOC race at Canterbury Downs. WE give lots of
thanks for these donations for our
event. They also have autographed
posters from the racers. 50/50 raffles will be held during the day. Food will consist
of Pizza and hot dogs, brats, burgers? Soda and beer will be sold also. The track is
coming along. The Town and County has hauled in snow for the track. (we do get snow
from another field). The Sawyer County Snowmobile
& ATV Alliance website is now up and running. Goggle the site and check it out. sawyercountyalliance.com(check out the videos I made.) Skilly’s Bar will give you .50¢ off a drink when you show them your paid membership
